PRINT - "The Chinese Plate"

circa 1930. Fern Bisel Peat was an American illustrator (1893-1971). She founded an interior-decorating studio with her husband, where she specialized in designing material for children, including textiles, wallpaper, and murals, and illustrated multiple books. She was the illustrator for Children's Playmate, and well as for Raggedy Ann, The Bird Book, Farewell to the Farm, The Night Before Christmas, A Treasury of Bedtime Stories, Winken Blinken and Nod, and A Child's Garden of Verses.

Full color illustration. Includes an additional page with a verse beginning "The Chinese plate looked very blue, and wailed 'Oh, dear! What shall we do!' " Suitable for framing. Size: about 11.5 x 10 inches. Print/120922.
