This large quarto presents the extensive minutes of evidence produced by the Commission on all aspects of the operations and conditions existing at Oxford. It includes an appendix and index and is accompanied by circulars addressed by the commissionerst ogether with answers. Bound in three quarter brown leather with dark brown cloth covers with the university's seal in gilt. Spine title label and gilt rulings and date to spine. Leather is quite scuffed and bumped on the front and rear covers and spine has wear and fraying along edges. Cloth covers also are worn and rubbed. Presentation label on front pastedown. Hinges are reinforced by library cloth tape. Interior pages have age-toning to the margins. Very good condition Part I: 415 pages; Part II: 187 pages. EDU/091422. Very Good.
