Very scarce, especially in US. Octavo. Bound in white vellum over green marbled paper covered boards with red leather title label and gilt title to spine. Decorative gilt device and rules to spine. Front and back boards are heavily rubbed with wear to edges and corners. Corners are bumped. Darkening and minor spotting to vellum, as is common. Interior has a few spots of foxing throughout. Creases to corners of a few pages. Handwritten note on inside front cover and to a few margins. Occasional pencil underlinings. Mispaginated / misprinted at page 207 and following; however, does not appear to be missing pages; numbered to 498 pages, including index. ITALANG/082522. Good.
