Several volumes have cracked or starting hinges. Chips to spine ends of some volumes. Clean, bright interiors. Previous owner's signature in pen dated 1904 to front free endpapers of each volume. Frontispiece engravings with captioned tissue guards and additional illustrations to some volumes. Marbled endpapers and top edges gilt.
