Lipsiae [Leipzig]: Sumptibus Et Typis B.G. Teubneri, 1830. Hardcover. Marcus Tullius Cicero (106 B.C.-43 B.C.) was the renowned Roman philosopher, politician, and orator. De Officiis, "The Duties," was written the year before he was assassinated and published posthumously. The work was divided into three books. This small volume is bound in quarter leather with marbled paper boards. Chipped, bumped, and rubbed. Paper spine label is tattered.
