This is an unusual and scarce collection of 16 card strips with photographs from "The Adventures of Smilin' Jack. Samuel Eppy, Inc. issued this 128-card set in 1943. "The Adventures of Smilin’ Jack” was a movie serial based on the comic strip “The Adventures of Smilin’ Jack”. The movie serial was distributed by Universal Pictures during 1943, Both single cards and sixteen 8-cards strips were issued. This set is from the sixteen 8-card strips. The backs of the cards are divided into the five vertical segments:
Segment one: Card number: Located in the upper left hand corner.
