Very good in original beige cloth boards with gilt title and black decoration to spine and front cover. The front cover features an illustration of a bird’s nest. There are a few light smudge marks to the covers and the spine is slightly darkened. Minor rubbing to edges of boards. The color plates are foxed and the margins of the textual pages are browned. Full marbled edges and silk moiré endpapers. Overall, a nice clean copy. 584 plus errata and map. NAT/090911. Very Good.

There is foxing to the interior, heaviest on the margins of the first and last few pages but there are a few spots throughout. There is a small hole in the margin of the title page which appears to be a flaw in the paper, not a tear. Includes a few laid in pressed leaves. Size: Quarto. German Literature. GER3/04191.
