Quotes from participants are included. It addresses issues of black voter suppression, police violence towards African Americans, unequal prison sentences / punishments, harrassment of African Americans by the police, social welfare issues, unemployment of African Americans, etc. Includes case study, a section of findings / recommendations, and appendices with letters/ responses from police chiefs, etc. Green side-stapled paper wrappers with black title to front cover. Also writing in pencil and ex-library stamps to front and rear end page. Rear free end page is missing. Rear hinge is detached from text block and front hinge is nearly detached from text block though text is tightly bound and exterior hinges are still strong. Hand painted flower to verso. Light damp stain and blue watercolor mark to title page. Tables throughout. Good candidate for rebinding. 124 pages. 8vo. American History. AME5/1252. Good.

Paper a bit brittle, there are three small chips to front wrapper edge (does not obscure any lettering). Small open tear and 3 small light spots of soiling to rear wrapper. Staples rusted. Damp stain to bottom inside corner of first and last few pages. Text is bright. Map to inside of rear wrapper. 40 pages. American History. AME108291. Very Good.
