Chapters are organized by areas of London and landmarks such as the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. Bound in three quarter blue leather with marbled paper covered boards and gilt titles to spines. Marbled endpapers and top edges gilt. Floral gilt ornaments and raised bands to spines. Wear and a few bumps to edges of boards and corners. Interior pages are clean overall with occasional small spots of soiling and smudge marks to margins. With three foldout maps to first volume and two plates. (The fold-out map of London and Westminster is bound into the rear of the first volume and has a large closed tear.)
