Elaborate gilt tooled border to edges of boards. Two large one and a half inch chips to the spine. Front board nearly detatched. Exterior crack to rear hinge. Crease to rear board. Edges and corners show wear. Four raised bands to spine. Gilt design to bands and compartments. Full marbled edges. Marbled end pages. Foxing throughout but text is still bright. Inscription from previous owner dated August 3, 1825. Good candidate for rebinding. 381 pages. Religion. REL/072607. Good.
London: Baldwin, Cradock, and Joy, 1820. Hardcover. Good condition in brown paper covered boards with remnants of a title label to the spine. The spine is heavily worn with chipping to the paper covering the ends and hinges. Both boards remain securely attached to the textblock with two cords still attached. The paper covering the edges of the boards is chipped and soiled. Slight dampstain to bottom margin of several pages, creasing to a few pages, and occasional small spots of foxing. A good reading copy. Religion. REL310121. Good.
