Clement Dorsey (1778-1848) was a congressman and later a judge for the 5th Circuit Court of Maryland. The publisher, Fielding Lucas (1781-1854), was a prominent 19th century cartographer and publisher. Bound in brown leather. Joints and hinges are weak, spine is missing and leather is scraped and stained. Introductory pages are loose, but the rest of the text is intact. Bookplate of Leonadis Coyle on front pastedown.
