Very Good in illustrated brown cloth boards with gilt titles to spines, white titles to front covers, and an illustration of a bear to front covers. Wear to edges of boards, corners, and spine ends of all volumes. Rubbing to covers. Spine of volume one has been repaired. Closed tears to edges of some pages - most of which have been repaired with archival tape. Overall the interiors are clean; although, there are occasional spots of foxing and small spots of soiling to some pages. Volume two and volume three are both missing the front free endpapers. Rear hinge of volume three is starting. Includes over 1000 illustrations, some of which are in color.
