n.p. A handsome specimen leaf with two pages of Persian writing. It includes red and gilt borders around some of the text and a small illuminated decoration in red, blue, and gilt. A previous owner has helpfully affixed a printed description of the leaf to the recto - not at all helpful. It describes the leaf as about two hundred and fifty years old. Browning to pages, two small closed tears along bottom margin, and thin strip of white paper along margin of verso. Measures 5.25 x 8 inches. MANU/041723. Very Good -.
