In Praise of Folly
Chicago: Pascal Covici / Renshaw Press, 1925. Hardcover. Number 620 of 1100 copies. Also the pictures of Holbein etched in the author's time, to which are added Mr. Angarola's conception of the period and drawings by way of contemporary comment by Gene Markey, Esq. An attractive printing of this classic work with almost 30 black and white illustrations. Bound in dark brown cloth over light brown paper covered boards with heavilly oxidized gilt title and decoration to spine. The spine title has become so darkened, it is no longer legible. Minor wear to edges of spine and boards. Foxing to fore-edge of text block and occasional spots of foxing to interior, but clean overall. 208 pages. PHIL/020923. Very Good.
