Manchester: University Press, 1916. Hardcover. This lecture describes a burglary of the king's wardrobe that occured on April 24, 1303. Ex-library with pocket to rear pastedown and library stamps and markings to various pages. Disbound and laid into the original binding of blue linen over paper covered boards with black title to front board. Call number in white to spine and call number in black to front board. Dampstaining to edges of front board and rubbing to boards. Includes a plan of Westminster Abbey and Palace as well as two full page plates reproducing a medieval manuscript showing the Outrage at Anagni and the Outrage at Westminster. Minor browning to interior. Clean overall aside from library markings and a few light smudge marks. Rear cover and interior do not show signs of dampstaining. 24 pages. ENG/111122. Good.
