Shu-Ju Wang founded the Relay Replay Press in 2008 after receiving a 2008 Regional Arts and Culture Council Grant, which she dedicated to working with the elderly suffering from various stages and forms of memory loss. She worked one-on-one with five seniors meeting with each over a period of several months. This book about Sheila was the fourth in the series. Sheila had been a print artist in her working life and despite her many signs of forgetfulness she proved to still be a consummate artist. This book was created using Print Gocco, a simple screenprinting press. Except for a print based on a photograph of Sheila in her studio, the beautiful collection of art presented in this book was printed and titled by Sheila. Her skills with composition and colors are evident in this book. Wang decided that presenting her work in a simple stab binding would best showcase her prints. Media used were Print Gocco on Rives Lightweight, Nepal LIght and Nepal Heavyweight papers. Fine condition. Measures 5.75 x 9 inches. ARTISTSB/041421. Fine.
