Includes several laid in bookmarks, pressed leaves, two certificates of merit, and a letter dated 1854 from Esther Gates of Votuntown, CT. (She died just 3 years later in 1857.) In her two page letter she describes "the ravage" - an illness that has killed multiple friends and relations in her vicinity. An attractive set despite the noted condition issues.
