This two volume set comprises a volume in French with stunning pochoir illustrations by André Derain and signed by him on the colophon, and a reprint of the famous version translated by Lord Alfred Douglas and illustrated by Aubrey Beardsley. The Derain volume is in wraps with a black paper dust jacket. The jacket has wrinkles on the front and back and the bottom of the spine has a small tear. It is in its original mylar cover. The interior pages are clean and bright with the pochoir illustrations printed on black paper. The Beardsley version includes an introduction by Holbrook Jackson. It is bound in light red cloth with gilt titling to spine and front cover, which also has a gilt Beardsley design. Corners slightly bumped and small tape remnants on front and rear pastedowns. In very good condition. Both volumes are housed in a brown slipcase that is chipped along the edges and has fading on the back. Books measure 8 x 11 inches.
