The write: "Dear Austin Dobson We have talked over the subjet of your visit yesterday, and are sorry to say that our objection remains very strong againt the having of any work published by us brought out in another shape by another publisher. A favour is asked either way: that we should allow Messr. Macmillan to issue one of our publications, or that Messrs.
