A charming set of over one hundred loose black & white reproductions of original illustrations from some of Dicken's most famous novels, including Oliver Twist, The Old Curiosity Shop, The Pickwick Papers, Nicholas Nickleby and more. Most are printed as vignettes with the title of the illustration below. There are also portraits of Dickens at various ages. The prints are all in excellent condition. The prints are housed in a stiff paper slipcase with title label but no publisher or date provided. The case has been amateurly repaired with the interior lined in bookcloth. The repair is visible along the hinges, spine, and interior. There is chipping and wear to the edges of case. Ribbon closures. Prints measure about 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Suitable for framing. Literature.
