This edition comprises sixty-six loose plates that appeared in the earlier editions of the full reference work. The plates are photographic reproductions of the various pieces of furniture. Accompanied by an alphabetic list of the furniture makers, a brief description of the piece, and its current location in a museum or private collection. Both are housed in a quarto portfolio with grey paper covers and blue cloth spine. Spine has split along bottom edge and some fading to covers. Ribbon ties at top, bottom, and side.
