Boston: 1922-25. A completely filled autograph album belonging to a girl named Helen during her high school years. Her school is identified as the Girls High School, most likely in Boston, although a couple of the signers identified themselves as being from Dorchester. The sentiments are generally sweet and poetic about friendship, boyfriends present and future, shared classes, etc. Most charming of all are the seventeen original drawings offered by friends in both color and black and white. Most are of young women in flapper attire, but also include a few handsome young men. The album is bound in a well worn brown leather. The hinges are a bit soft but the album is still solid. Very nice condition. Measures 5 x 6 inches. HANDWRITTEN/061120. Very Good.
