Paris: Librairie Garnier Freres, circa 1900. Hardcover. In five volumes, History of Louis XIV, XV, and XVI. Tan leather spines with marbled paper covered boards and gilt titles to spines. There is a large chip to the head of the spine of volume 2. Wear to edges of boards, hinges, and corners. Cracking to leather on spine of volume five. Browning to margins of interiors, but otherwise very clean. Paper is a little brittle and there are short closed tears to edges of some pages. In some volumes some of the pages remain unopened. Overall an attractive set despite noted condition issues. 369 in tome 1; 583 pagea in tome 2; 585 pages in tome 3; 566 pages in tome 4; 606 in tome 5. This set may require an extra shipping fee.
