Cellini was an Italian goldsmith, sculptor, and author of the 16th century. His best-known works include the Cellini Salt Cellar, the sculpture of Perseus with the Head of Medusa, and his autobiography. Includes 196 illustrations. Octavo. Dark red cloth-covered boards with gilt title to spine. This is a rebinding that shows very little wear except for rubbing at top of spine. Pages are browned and there is some foxing, especially to frontispiece, title page, and first few pages.
