Paris: Librairie Grasset, 1930. Paperback. Number 7 of 30 copies on Madagascar paper. Very good in stiff cream paper wrappers with black title to spine and front cover. Browning to edges of wrappers. There is wear and a few chips the edge of the rear wrapper. Foxing to first and last few pages and also to edges of most pages. The original glassine is present. It is browned along the edges and there is a large open tear on the rear panel. The glassine also has a few spots of soiling. 69 pages. FRE/121912. Very Good.

Spine appears light brown due to fading. Fading also effects the wrapper edges. minor bumping and chipping to spine ends. Water stain to top of rear wrapper. Untrimmed edges to paper. Minor water staining to last 9 pages, but does not effect text which is clean and bright. Includes etchings done by Jean-Emile Laboureur. 61 pages. IN FRENCH. French language. FRE/100407. New York: Random House, 1947. Hardcover. Second Printing. SIGNED BY 25 CAST MEMBERS FROM THE BROADWAY PRODUCTION. The signers include John Carradine, Estelle Winwood, Le Roi Operti, Martita Hunt, Nydia Westman, Sandro Giglio, and Millicent Brower. The play ran for two years on Broadway and had a revival a few years later. Bound in original dark blue cloth with title and author in gilt to spine. Very good minus with some chipping and bumping. No dust jacket. Signatures are on free front endpaper. half title, and title pages. Interior is clean with three black and white photos from the production. DRA/071812. Very Good.
