The Limited Editions Club, 1944. Roger Duvoisin. Hard Cover. 867 of 1100 copies. SIGNED BY THE ARTIST. This was one of the smallest limitations for the Limited Editions Club. Typically they printed at least 1500 copies. This book was printed by the Marchbanks Press in new York with hand colored illustrations by the studio of Charlize Brakely. It is in very good plus condition with brown leather spine and batik paper covered boards with gilt title to spine. The joints of this book have minor rubbing and wear otherwise it is in fine condition. Clean and bright with color endpages and illustrations on nearly every page - many of which have been hand colored. It is housed in a grey cloth covered box with orange title to spine panel. The spine panel of the box is browned and lightly soiled. There is also a short closed tear to the front joint of the box. 112 pages. CHILD/082310. Very good plus in very good box.
