Symons (1865 - 1945) edited several periodicals, most notably "The Savoy" which featured work by Aubrey Beardsley, Conrad, Yeats, and others. He was heavily involved with the Decadent movement and was also a poet, essayist, and critic. Near fine in original black cloth with gilt title to spine and front board. Light rubbing to beveled boards and slight browning to end pages, else fine. Printed in black on laid paper with decorative initials and red borders. 236 pages plus 4 pages of ads. POE/010808.
