Includes a historical sketch of Masonry, biographies of the 22 past masters and a synopsis of their work, a history of the lodge, the charter from 1797, a list of members, officers, and initiates, and more. Bookplate of Henry Blaney Brookline dated 1860. Royal blue embossed cloth boards with elaborated gilt decoration to spine and gilt title to front board. Slight darkening to gilt on spine and minor wear to spine ends. Boards remain bright and clean. Includes 3 plates with original tissue guards. Foxing to tissue guards and to facing pages, else the interior remains very clean. Tight binding. An attractive copy of this rare title. 191 pages. AMER/081706. Fine.
